TalentMovers is a workforce mobility agency. We solve a specific problem: American manufacturers, food processors, and skilled trade employers who can’t find enough workers locally. And American workers in underserved communities who can’t find stable, well-paying jobs where they live. We connect the two by relocating workers to the jobs, and covering the move so they can actually say yes. Since 2018, we’ve placed thousands of workers at Fortune 500 manufacturers and regional employers across the United States. Every placement comes with travel, temporary housing, transportation, and help finding a permanent place to live. The worker pays nothing upfront. The company pays only for hours worked.Our model is different from traditional staffing because traditional staffing wasn’t working. Job openings sat empty. Workers turned over in 10 weeks. We built something that works instead.

A Message from Our Founder

 When I started TalentMovers in 2018, I kept hearing the same thing from manufacturers across the US “We can’t find workers.” They were wrong. The workers existed. They just lived in the wrong places. In Puerto Rico (right after Hurricane Maria) there were skilled tradespeople looking for stable jobs on the mainland. In parts of the continental U.S., there were experienced production workers in regions where unemployment was high and opportunity was low. And no one was connecting them to the plants that needed them, because no one was willing to pay for the move. We built TalentMovers to close that gap. Not with a better job board. Not with a fancier recruiting algorithm. By actually relocating people and covering what it costs. Eight years in, we’ve placed thousands of workers at Fortune 500 manufacturers and regional employers across the country. Most of them are still on the job a year later. That’s the part I’m proudest of. If you’re an employer tired of hearing there’s no one to hire, or a worker tired of hearing there’s no jobs where you are, you’re the reason this company exists.
